Monday Beavers meet on Monday from 5:30 till 6:30
Tuesday Beavers meet on Tuesday
'Pumas' - Cubs meet on Tuesdays from 7:10 till 8:30
'Panthers' - Cubs meet on Wednesday
Scouts meet on Thursdays from 7 till 9
Scouting in Alcester began in 1911. The Scout Troop ran from the Grammer School for over 40 years until the 1950s as the intake of Scouts was restricted to pupils only. In 1923 a one storey house next to The Lord Nelson was used as a Scout Room for two years. 1st Alcester Scout Group then moved in the mid sixties to the old Scout Hut behind the Grieg Memorial Hall.
In 2006 1st Alcester Scout Group opened Moorfields House - the new Guide and Scout Centre in Alcester.
